Flower Child
$$ // Downtown Austin + Domain Northside // Sit Down Meals
Flower Child, originally based in Los Angeles, is known for amazing healthy food that you will have no idea how healthy it is! For example, their mac and cheese just so happens to be incredible and also gluten-free. WHAT. Especially great if you have a group of people where some are not looking for something vegan or vegetarian!
Honest Marys
$$ // North Austin (Far North) // Fast Causal Grain Bowls
Known for having some insanely good grain bowls more than anything! Their fresh ingredients make every bowl something special, and they’re more of a fast-causal destination if you need something on-the-go.
Juiceland Austin
$$ // Multiple Locations
One of my absolute favorite places to pick up smoothies is Juiceland! They have DELICIOUS options, and tons of healthy flavors for everyone. Seriously, I was never a big smoothie person but I love my Juiceland smoothies. Also, big fan of their Doctor shot when I’m not feeling so hot! Always gases me right back up!
Picnik Eatery
$$ // Burnet + East Austin Food Truck // Gluten Free Brunch, Butter Coffee
Probably more better known for their fabulous butter coffee, but also an amazing space to get brunch or lunch with friends at the Burnet location! I love their gluten free tacos (YUP) and their brunch plates.

Cava just popped up in the last couple of years as a healthy restaurant in Austin, and is already taking Austin by storm by opening tons of new locations! They are known for their Mediterranean-style bowls and salads that you can eat at their gorgeous restaurants or take to go. Everything is built your own, so you can customize it to fit your diet as you need!
True Food Kitchen
$$ // Downtown Austin Seaholm District // Vegan + Vegetarian Meals
Firstly, what I love about True Food is that out of all the healthy restaurants in Austin, it also has the most unhealthy meals! It’s the perfect spot for a work lunch when you’ve got plenty of people with various diets. You can get a killer bowl, a salad, a smoothie, or a giant pizza (lol me).
Blenders & Bowls
$ // Multiple Locations // Fruit Bowls & Smoothies
I actually love working out of the East Austin location, and their smoothies always taste fresh and amazing! A great on-the-go option around town, and the line isn’t the worst. You can also customize what you get to fill up with extra vitamins you might be needed, which is awesome.
Hillside Pharmacy
$$ // East Austin // Farm to Table Brunch
I actually have this as one of my favorite brunch spots in Austin because the food is so dang good! I love that they have plenty of vegetarian options for brunch-goers, but also a healthy selection of crazy good breads and meals for us non-vegetarians. This is the kind of brunch spot that will make everyone happy!
Cafe No Se
$$$ // South Congress // Healthy Farm to Table Brunch
One of the best healthy restaurants in Austin for brunch for SURE! I love their avocado toast and their granola and their eggs. Another great place I would totally take my mom and she would love it, no matter what diet she happens to be on right now. Also, it is CUTE AS HECK.
Vinaigrette
$$ // South Congress // Upscale Salad Bar
A salad bar with a crazy beautiful twist. Seriously, this takes the salad to a whole new level they do an incredible job with it. All the ingredients are locally sourced from Austin, and many actually come from the owner’s farm himself!
Soup Peddler
$ // Multiple Locations // On the Go Soups + Salads
Not really known for vegan/vegetarian, but definitely known as a great lunch spot for a delicious salad, sandwich, or soup! I love stopping here for lunch or on my way home for dinner when I need something simple. A great option if you have some picky eaters with you too!
