Every time I go to Hanks during Happy Hour, I get their margarita. Cannot resist how yummy that spicy marg is, and for such a solid deal during happy hour. Plus, they have plenty of delicious food if you’re craving some dinner but less Tex Mex and more burgers!

One of the cutest spots on this list! Bar Peached is a spinoff from Peached Tortilla and it lives up to the name. Their apps are incredible and so are their drinks! Grab a marg here and enjoy the outdoor (heated) patio or the gorgeous interior.

Their happy brings a $5 margarita, which is such a good deal because I would argue they’re one of the best in town! Plus, you have to get an app to pair with it because La Condesa food is truly amazing. It’s my go-to after work margarita spot because it’s right downtown.

Firstly, the food at Gabrielas is fantastic and I highly recommend, especially the queso. Second, the drink deals in happy hour are great! It’s a fun spot to go for drinks with friends to celebrate each other and margaritas. It’s a HUGE party vibe, and absolutely the spot to go if you want to be OUT out.

Love me a nice $5 cocktail! Licha’s Cantina on the East Side is a great spot for some margs and for tacos as well. Highly recommend their little front patio too! And the interior is like a cute little house. It’s also just in general one of my go-to restaurants in Austin for when I have people in town because everything is so classic!

Firstly, love their fishbowl margs during happy hour. Absolutely amazing portions. Second, their queso is fabulous and one of my favorite queso Blancos in town! It’s a go-to spot for fun dinner and drinks friend outings, especially for a birthday celebration. Also, the price point, in general, is great!

This place is the most unassuming place for margarita, but their avocado margarita is an Austin STAPLE and it lives up to the hype. It’s honestly more like an avocado smoothie than anything! It’s delicious and worth the cost, and plus their food is delicious and affordable to pair with it.
Not a place you go for the vibe or cute insta picks, this is where you go when you want a margarita that straight up slams.

If you are here for a bachelorette party or celebration with the girls of ANY form, then this is a GREAT spot to hit for happy hour margaritas. The drinks are insanely cute and their happy hour makes that cost super manageable. Also for a place this cute, the food is delicious to boot!

These cocktails at Fonda San Miguel are SO GOOD. And the queso is incredible to pair with it, especially being 50% off during happy hour. This is the kind of happy hour I would take my parents if they’re visiting from out of town and I know they’re paying for it. The space itself is stunning as well, like this atrium is just a dream.

Important to note this was my go to work happy hour when I worked off Anderson! Its a HUGE space with delicious margaritas and food, and a favorite from many because there’s a patio space for kiddos to run around and play and stay entertained while we enjoy margaritas. But these $3 happy hour margaritas make it WORTH GOING when you know you plan to get 3+ margaritas.
